Em meio à polêmica das alterações relevantes para obtenção do Golden Visa, o governo português anunciou, na última terça-feira, mais uma mudança.
A partir de 2024, os novos Residentes Não Habituais não terão mais direitos aos benefícios fiscais. Tal medida leva em consideração o aumento dos preços para compra e aluguel de imóveis no país.
O regime de Residente Não Habitual, vigente desde 2009, previa vantagens tributárias tanto para estrangeiros residentes em Portugal, por um período de dez anos, quanto para portugueses que tenham emigrado por um período superior a cinco anos.
Durante o anúncio do fim desses benefícios, o primeiro-ministro português Antonío Costa afirmou que quem é beneficiário deste regime poderá continuar usufruindo até o fim do período que o beneficiário tiver direito.
